Gerry Phelan is the owner of The Performance Catalyst, a management consulting firm headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. The Performance Catalyst is a personal and organizational development company dedicated to enhancing individual performance and achieving measurable business improvement. The firm is affiliated with Resource Associates Corporation, a major national consulting company with a network of associates throughout the United States. Mr. Phelan is also partners with Pro-Tec Data to provide employee Information Protection Training and with Peak Pathways to offer Career Transition Coaching.

Before starting The Performance Catalyst, Mr. Phelan was the Director of Training and Development for TD AMERITRADE and had a successful twenty year career with International Paper Company, and its distribution arm xpedx. During that time he filled a variety of management roles including Division General Manager, Group Vice President of Operations, Treasurer, Credit Manager and Data Processing Manager. He planned and led numerous large scale projects in diverse areas like greenfielding, mergers, systems conversions, facility moves, systems, sales and new building construction. Prior to joining International Paper Company, he worked in production control and line supervision at Outboard Marine Corporation. Gerry earned his bachelor’s degree in Operations Management from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
